Exercise: Traffic flows and area occupation analysis at 'bauma' trade fair in Munich, Germany

On April 24, 2010, during the 'bauma 2010' trade fair, the VABENE project of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) cooperated with the Munich police department in an exercise using the 3K aerial photo camera. An analysis of the traffic flows and occupation of available parking space was part of the exercise, as an example of possible ancillary information in the case of a large-scale event.
