Hurricane Tomas in Haiti, November 2010

On November 5, 2010 Winds of up to 80 mph ripped through parts of Haiti as the tropical storm Tomas grew into a Category 1 hurricane. One of the hardest hit area was Leogane, where flooding forced families to flee. In the capital, Port-au-Prince, Tomas turned streets into canals of flowing garbage.
