Oil spill in Norway
undefinedOn February 17, 2011, the Icelandic vessel Godafoss stranded near the southern Norwegian coast, about 100 km south of Oslo. Two oil tanks of the vessel were breached and an oil spill threatened the Ytre Hvaler Marine National Park. ZKI provides disaster extent maps in the framework of GMES Emergency Response project SAFER with funding from the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme.
