For the preparation of the official festivities for the German Unity Day in Hannover on October 2nd and 3rd, 2014, the Center for Satellite Based Crisis Information (ZKI) provided reference information to the planning committee. A satellite image of August 28th, 2014 with a spatial solution of 0,5m provides an overview of the city of Hannover, which is complemented with information on infrastructure and foreseen parking space.
