ZKI supports Saxony's state fire department and disaster control school during flood exercise in Freiberg

From October 28 to 30, 2024, the State Fire Brigade and Disaster Protection School of Saxony will conduct a large-scale exercise aimed at testing and solidifying the cooperation of special command centers (between the administrative staff and technical operations management) of the lower fire protection, emergency services, and disaster protection authority, for example, in the event of disruptions to critical infrastructure.

The emergency services will have to handle various realistic scenarios, such as a rescue operation in the teaching and experimental mine in Freiberg, which could arise as a result of flooding.
